Château Enclos Haut-Mazeyres is located 30 kilometres East of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Dordogne River, in the commune of Libourne. The vineyard is an ancient Domain of Mazeyres, although it was separated from the main domain in 1850, when the Bordeaux-Paris railway was built. It has been a family-run property for 4 generations since its foundation in 1832.
The wine was served on the liner SS France on her inaugural voyage to New-York in 1912, just a week after the Titanic sank.
Soil: Gravel with clay and ferruginous sandstone.

Location: The South-West facing vineyard is located on the plateau of Pomerol.
Average age of the vineyard: 50 years
Manual harvesting. Classical vinification for 3 to 4 weeks in thermo regulated vats.
Ageing for 15 to 18 months in French oak barrels.
