For obvious reasons the one vineyard is simply called the Spice Block and the other the Long Block. Yields are rarely above 7t/ha and therefore naturally produce wines with structure and superior concentration. Our soils consist exclusively of deep, well-weathered granite with moderate amounts of clay and iron. Such soils elevate the aromatics and promote finesse in the wine.

AWARDS

Vondeling Sauvignon Blanc 2020

Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge 2020 -Gold

2021 Platters Guide 'Vivacious tropical flavours'

Vondeling Sauvignon Blanc 2018
Platter's Wine Guide 2019 3.5 Stars
Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge 2018 88/100
Michelangelo Awards 2018 Silver
Veritas Awards 2018 Silver

Vondeling Sauvignon Blanc 2017
Platter's Wine Guide 2018 3.5 Stars

Vondeling Sauvignon Blanc 2016
Platter's Wine Guide 2017 3 Stars
Michelangelo Awards 2016 Silver
Veritas Awards 2016 Broze

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2333/1315/files/Sauvignon-Blanc-PNG2_bb9f139d-3d48-4e51-9992-92e3dad2cf42.jpg?v=1779889177
