Clos Pons Alges is powerful, balanced, fragrant, and fruity. This wine has a bouquet of pure fruit, surrounded by a light touch of wood that makes it elegant and subtle. Berries with a touch of jam, liquorice and cherries over mineral notes and its notable acidity result in a fresh and enjoyable wine. Balance is the most important part of this elegant and sexy wine, which invites you to drink one glass after another. Clos Pons is located in North East Spain’s Catalonian district, north of Barcelona. The estate, situated in the ‘Les Garrigues’ sub district of the region, sees scarce rainfall, cold winters and very warm summers, and sits at an altitude of 500 to 700 meters – all constituting the ideal space for producing wine of great quality. The Winery is located on a hill that dominates all the vineyard and Clos Pons follow an integrated production method, where the wine is produced on the same site the grapes are grown. Technology meets traditional methods at this facility, where everything is designed to work with respect to the quality and maintain the properties of the “terroir” in the wines they produce.
