Chateau L'Arnaude

The origins of Château l’Arnaude date back to the creation of a hermitage on the road to Saint Jacques de Compostelle , 350 years ago.The monks planted vines and olive trees on the glistening red and limestone soils.
Today the Château is Swedish-owned by Mats Wallin.

The favourable microclimate of the estate, just 45 kilometres away from the Mediterranean Sea, the surrounding hills, the exposure of the vineyard, facing south and thereby making the most of every drop of the sun. Even the presence of luxuriant thyme and rosemary bushes, are all features with their part to play in giving the wines their incomparable bouquet.

In all the phases of winemaking , from the harvest to the final transformation , Château L’Arnaude has the secret of associating a subtle dose of traditional know-how with modern technology.
