Terre Di Valgrande
Terre Valgrande was established by wine lover, Matteo Zandonella Sarinutoin Verona, in 2006. His Amarone della Valpolicella is the gemstone of the company. Only the the best grapes are selected; Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara of Valpantena and Valpolicella, which are combined at the “fruttaio”. Only after at least 100 days drying out are the grapes then vinified in the Cellar, matured and bottled. Besides the Amarone, they produce an excellent Valpolicella, ValpolicellaRipasso and Soave.
The history of Venetian wine has special roots. In the Middle Ages they drank wine from every province in the Veneto, each with its own characteristics. The hilly area around Verona produces light, meltingly fruity wines with real character. A very small portion of the district’s production is represented by the fiery Amarone, the speciality of Verona, a wine partially made of dried grapes, fully fermented, which can be a grand wine.
